Dzeko's powerful header made Napoli lose their first game of the season to Inter Milan and put Inter in the top 4.

The tug-of-war between Inter and Napoli

Inter Milan fell out of the top 4 before this round but they have a big chance after 4th place Lazio lost at Lecce's field. Meanwhile, Napoli at the top of the table is still 5 points ahead of AC Milan before playing.

Inter struggled to keep the ball but they should have scored four goals in the first half. In the 4th minute Lukaku made a good move for Dimarco but his cross came with a missed shot.

In the 26th minute, Dzeko in the box was given the ball by Lukaku before releasing it to Darmian but the kick went over the bar.

41 minutes Barella hit the heel for Lukaku to escape to the face but shot too high, and 1 minute later it was Dimarco's turn to be saved by Meret another face-to-face phase.

It wasn't until the end of the first half that Napoli had their first dangerous chance with Anguissa's deflection from Di Lorenzo's cross.

Dimarco darted down the left wing before crossing and Dzeko broke away from his keeper to make a tight header to open the scoring.

Napoli pressed on in attack for the remainder of the second half but proved imprecise in the passes near the box.

It wasn't until the 90th minute that the first significant opportunity came, Raspadori had time and space to finish but goalkeeper Onana reflexively poured a save.

It was the last chance of the game and the 1-0 win put Inter back in the top four, while Napoli lost their first Serie A game of the season.
